Hanoi introduced 3 enterprises to be considered for the National Quality Award in 2021
Hanoi City agreed to introduce 3 enterprises to the National Quality Award Council in 2021 for consideration and award.

Implementing Plan No. 82/KH-UBND dated March 29, 2021 on the organization of activities of the National Quality Award 2021 of Hanoi city, in July 2021, the Pre-qualification Council for the National Quality Award will be held in Hanoi. The city's national championship in 2021 has reviewed, evaluated and selected businesses in the area to attend the award.

In 2021, there are 4 enterprises in Hanoi that submitted their applications to participate in the National Quality Award 2021. After the evaluation sessions, scoring on the profile and on-site assessment for participating enterprises. The Preliminary Council for the National Quality Award 2021, the city has agreed to introduce 3 businesses to the National Quality Quality Council in 2021 for consideration and award, including: TechPro Technology Development Joint Stock Company, Military Division Joint Stock Commercial Bank (MB) and DOJI Jewelry Group Joint Stock Company.

Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee also issued Plan No. 82/KH-UBND on organizing the city's 2021 National Quality Award activities. Accordingly, the subjects and conditions to participate in the 2021 National Quality Competition of Hanoi city include organizations and enterprises of all types, sizes and economic sectors with legal status that have registered their production and business activities and services continuously in the city for a period of at least 36 months up to the time of registration. For organizations and enterprises that have won the National Quality Gold Award, in addition to the above conditions, after two years from the year of being awarded the National Quality Gold Award by the Prime Minister, they can continue to participate in the National Quality Gold Award in 2021.

The Hanoi People's Committee also stated that the National Quality Value is evaluated and scored according to 7 criteria with a maximum total score of 1,000 points. Specifically, the criteria for the role of leaders are 120 points; operational strategy 85 points; customer- and market-oriented policy 85 points; measurement, analysis and knowledge management 90 points; human resource management 85 points; operational process management 85 points; performance results 450 points.

Regarding the award structure, enterprises with 600 points or more are proposed to be considered for the National Quality Award; Enterprises with 800 points or more will be considered for the National Quality Gold Award. Regarding the progress of implementation, at the city level, in November and December 2021, it is expected to hold a conference to summarize the city's national quality traffic activities (if any). For the national level, in December 2021, it is expected to hold a press conference to announce the results of enterprises attending in 2021 and the awarding ceremony of the National Quality Award in 2021 and the Asia-Pacific International Quality Award in 2021.

The City People's Committee requires, regardless of types and sizes of organizations and enterprises; There is no limit to the number of organizations and businesses participating. The award consideration must ensure publicity, objectivity and fairness according to the expert assessment method, scoring on the basis of the criteria of the National Quality Award.

Regarding the benefits of award-winning organizations and enterprises that have achieved the National Quality Award are allowed to announce, propagate and advertise on the mass media or other forms of introduction about their units, use the symbol of the National Quality Value on products and publications of organizations and enterprises.

Organizations and enterprises that have won the National Quality Gold Award are nominated by Science and Technology to attend regional and international quality awards. Award-winning organizations and enterprises are given priority to borrow capital from the National Science and Technology Development Fund, the National Technology Innovation Fund, the Science and Technology Development Fund in the ministries, branches, provinces and cities, other funds as prescribed by law; give priority to participating in national-level programs and projects on development, technology transfer, productivity and quality improvement.

Prize-winning organizations and enterprises are rewarded by ministries, branches and provinces and centrally-run cities according to regulations from the annual reward fund. Organizations and enterprises registered to participate in the National Quality Award are guided by the Department for Standards, Metrology and Quality - Department of Science and Technology: Develop a general introduction report on organizations and enterprises and a self-assessment report according to 07 criteria of the national quality award.
