On-site assessment of enterprises participate in the National Quality Award 2021

In order to continue implementing the activities of the Prequalification Council for the National Quality Award 2021 of Da Nang City (Preliminary Selection Council), recently, at Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC), the evaluation expert team of the Prequalification Council carried out an on-site assessment, with the aim of clarifying some contents and collecting and reviewing evidence related to the Self-Assessment Report according to 7 Criteria of National Quality Award and DRC's application for the National Quality Award 2021.
The on-site assessment session was attended by representatives of the National Quality Award Prequalification Council of Da Nang city, representative members of the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, The City's Emulation and Commendation Committee, the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality and the expert evaluation team.
At the assessment, Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, General Director of DRC provided more information and data to explain and clarify the contents and issues that the members of the Pre-qualification Council and the Expert Group proposed. In particular, the focus is on leadership roles in planning vision, mission, core values, operational strategies, customer and market-oriented policies, measurement, analysis and management of knowledge, management of human resources, legal obligations to the State and responsibilities to society, the community and in the process of production and business activities of DRC.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Prequalification Council highly appreciated DRC's enthusiasm and determination to attend the national quality award 2021 with the expectation of achieving the national quality award in 2021 in the context DRC has to ensure both production and business activities while ensuring safety in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, and at the same time, it is requested that DRC urgently complete and supplement documents to participate in the National quality award 2021 according to regulations.
Da Nang Department of Science and Technology has also announced about the participation in the National quality award in 2021 to organizations and businesses in the province. Regarding the conditions for participation, organizations and enterprises have legal status, have continuous production, business and service activities in Vietnam, have not violated the provisions of law for at least 36 months up to the time of registration.
National quality awards include: National Quality Gold Award and National Quality Award. Award winning organizations and enterprises will receive the National Quality Value Cup and the certificate of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Ministry of Science and Technology considers and selects up to 20 enterprises that have won the best National Quality Gold Award to propose the Prime Minister to award the Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in improving productivity, product quality and goods.
