Seize many sink faucets and blades with counterfeit trademarks protected in Vietnam
According to information from the Market Management Department of Ha Giang province, recently, through the work of capturing the area and implementing professional measures, the inspection team of Ha Giang Market Management Team No.3 conducted a  truck inspection, brand name HYUNDAI control plate 34C-286.01, driven by Mr. Vu Xuan Quy, born in 1984, address: La Xa village, Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien district, Hai Duong province.

The results of the truck inspection showed that 631 products and goods were discovered (including: 141 cutting blades, 110 planing blades, 300 bits of Makita branded screws; 41 Caesar branded sink faucets; 39 sink faucets labeled inax) with signs of counterfeiting products of the same brand as Makita, Caesar, inax have been protected in Vietnam.

Working directly with the authorities, Mr. Vu Xuan Quy said that the above goods he was transporting for sale. Information Management Team No. 3 has temporarily seized all of the goods showing signs of forgery for verification and clarification in accordance with the law.

Regarding the business and transportation of counterfeit goods, recently, Market Management Team No.3 - Department of Market Management of Phu Tho province conducted an inspection of Vu Phong Store owned by Mr. Vu Hung Cuong at Address: Area 5. Thanh Ba Town, Thanh Ba District, Phu Tho Province.

At the time of inspection, 73 sets of men's blazers with the Adidas brand were found showing signs of counterfeiting of the Adidas brand (protected in Vietnam). During the verification process, the inspection team determined that all of the above clothes were fake Adidas brands. Immediately after that, the Market Management Team No.3 transferred the relevant case file to the Market Management Department of Phu Tho province, submitting it to the Director for a decision on sanctioning administrative violations in accordance with regulations.

Before the above violation, the Department of Market Management of Phu Tho province issued Decision on sanctioning administrative violation No. 00039974/QD-XPVPHC for Mr. Vu Hung Cuong for 02 acts of selling counterfeit goods with Adidas trademark protected in Vietnam and the act of displaying for sale counterfeit goods of Adidas brand has been protected in Vietnam.

At the same time, an administrative fine of 33.5 million dong, forcibly returning the illegal profit gained from committing the violation is 2.15 million dong, forcible destruction of all infringing goods including 44 sets of pants. Men's round neck blazer and 29 sets of men's blazer with fake Adidas brand with an estimated value of 23.35 million VND. Suspend trading activities of infringing goods for a period of 2 months as prescribed by law.
