Da Nang: Meeting the needs of businesses to ensure accurate measurement
By 2025, the specific goal of Da Nang city is to support and encourage the socialization of at least 10 standard substances, measurement standards and measuring instruments of all kinds to meet the needs of ensuring accurate measurement for businesses.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a plan to implement the project "Strengthening and renovating measurement activities to support Vietnamese enterprises in improving their competitiveness and international integration in the period to 2025, with orientation to 2030” with the goal of developing facilities and metrological service infrastructure in a synchronous and modern direction, meeting international integration and the need to ensure accurate measurement for business activities, suitable to the socio-economic conditions of Da Nang city; Focus on supporting businesses in a number of priority industries and fields, such as high-tech industry, logistics services, electronic technologies, telecommunications associated with the digital economy, high-tech agriculture, etc.; effectively develop and implement the program to ensure measurement at enterprises; strengthen measurement activities closely associated with business activities.

Promote socialization, mobilize diverse resources in society to contribute to the development of measurement activities; Effectively apply the national set of criteria to evaluate the measurement fields to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the state management of measurement; standardize the capacity and operation of organizations providing services of verification, calibration and testing of measuring instruments and measurement standards; Focusing on promoting propaganda, raising awareness and spreading widely about the role and importance of measurement activities to support businesses.

By 2025, the specific goal of Da Nang city is to support and encourage the socialization of at least 10 standard substances, measurement standards and measuring instruments of all kinds to meet the needs of ensuring accurate measurement for businesses; To foster and improve professional expertise in metrology at least 200 turns of participants in measurement activities; Implement the metrological assurance program under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology through the verification, calibration, testing of measuring instruments, measurement standards and the development of measuring methods for at least 50 turns of enterprises and organizations including state-owned enterprises and private sector enterprises;

Implement the application of the national set of criteria to evaluate the measurement fields at least 01 accredited laboratory in the city for the measurement fields to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of state management on measurement; standardize the capacity and operation of organizations providing services of inspection, calibration and testing of measuring instruments and measurement standards.

By 2030, support and encourage the socialization of at least 20 types: standard substances, measurement standards, measuring instruments to meet the needs of enterprises to ensure accurate measurement; To foster and improve professional expertise in metrology at least 500 turns of participants in measurement activities;

Implement the Metrology Assurance Program under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology through the verification, calibration, testing of measuring instruments, measurement standards and the development of measuring methods for at least 100 turns of enterprises include state-owned enterprises and private sector enterprises;

Strengthen international cooperation in research, training and technology transfer in metrology.

Promote communication on measurement activities: Organize conferences and workshops on metrology; implementing activities to celebrate Vietnam measurement day; organize emulation and commendation for organizations and individuals that well perform measurement activities; Promote information work, propagate policies and laws, raise awareness of enterprises and society about measurement activities.
