Ensure measurement in production and business, improve the competitiveness of enterprises
Over the past time, the Center for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Binh Duong province has always ensured the measurement needs of organizations and individuals engaged in production and business activities in the province and neighboring provinces, contributing to improving the quality of products and services value in the economic structure of the province, improving the competitiveness and international integration of enterprises.

The Center for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Binh Duong province was appointed by the Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality to inspect and calibrate 4 measurement standards, to verify 32 types of measuring instruments and to certify for standard registration of 33 measuring instruments of all kinds; registration of testing activities for electrical and electronic products and 10 building material products; assigned to evaluate the conformity of 7 electrical and electronic products, 1 product of rebar and plain round steel.

The Center's laboratory is certified by the Office of Quality Accreditation (BOA) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The Center always maintains the application of the quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015, creating trust for businesses inside and outside the province.

In addition, the Center is assigned by the Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality to carry out comparative verification of electricity meters in the province every year with the number of over 10,000 electricity meters per year. Total number of measuring instruments are inspected and calibrated annually over 35,000 instruments; number of tests on 700 samples.

With the number of annual inspections, the Center ensures the measurement needs of organizations and individuals engaged in production and business activities in the province and neighboring provinces, contributing to improving the service value in the economic structure of the province, improving competitiveness and international integration of enterprises.

In addition, the Center has sent staffs to join the inspection and inspection delegations of the Inspectorate of the Department of Science and Technology and the Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality when required in the role of technical support; contribute to protecting the interests of consumers, ensuring social justice, protecting the health and safety of consumers in the use of potentially hazardous goods, especially children.
