Tien Giang: Detecting and seizing a large number of goods infringe on trademarks
Recently, the functional force of Tien Giang province has detected and kept many batches of products in violation of regulations on goods labeling.

Specifically, through professional measures to manage the area, the inspection team of Market Management Team No. 5 of the Department of Market  Management of Tien Giang province conducted an unscheduled inspection of 02 cotton granaries in Cai Be district, Tien Giang province.

At the time of inspection, it was discovered that these establishments were selling a total of 4.2 tons of Chinese-origin garlic with original labels in foreign languages but no sub-labels in Vietnamese, violated goods worth of 23,100,000 VND. The head of the 5th Market Management Team has issued 02 decisions on sanctioning administrative violations against 02 establishment owners for the above violations.

Previously, at the Disease Control Point No. 3 in Tan Huong commune, Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province, the Market Management Team No. 1 coordinated with the Traffic Police Department - the Police of Tien Giang Province to inspect vehicles control a number plate 71C-050.43 belongs to the category of "green channel" moving from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre province.

At the time of the search, it was discovered that the vehicle was transporting 9 tons of raw materials for animal feed production, originating from Thailand, contained in 360 bags, 25 kg/bag.

This shipment has invoices and documents proving the origin, has the original label in a foreign language but no additional label in Vietnamese; The value of goods is 81 million VND.

The violation is imported goods with original labels in foreign languages but no secondary labels in Vietnamese. After completing the dossier, on September 11, 2021, the Market Management Team No. 1 decided to impose a fine of VND 20 million on the goods owner, HC N.P. Import-Export Joint Stock Company, in Long An province.
