Destroy thousands of fake products, goods of unknown origin in Tuyen Quang
Market Management Team No. 5 of Tuyen Quang Province has coordinated with functional forces to destroy more than 8,000 products that are fakes and goods of unknown origin.

Recently, Market Management Team No. 5 has destroyed more than 8,000 counterfeit products including water equipment, motorcycle parts with fake YAMAHA brand, fake computer with CASIO brand under the supervision of a representative of the Department of Science and Technology, Economic Police Department of Provincial Public Security and Provincial Television Station.

Specifically, the destroyed items included more than 7,400 RO water filter cores, water filter valve locks of unknown origin, 800 products are fake YAMAHA motorcycle parts and 13 fake CASIO branded computers.

The functional forces said that all of these goods were evidences of three administrative violations that were confiscated by the Market Management Team No. 5 through the previous market inspection and review.

All infringing goods are destroyed by hammering to break the product, lose its features and use, and be destroyed at a waste disposal site to ensure environmental sanitation in accordance with regulations.

Also in Tuyen Quang, recently, functional forces discovered and confiscated more than 13,000 medical masks of unknown origin for sale on the Facebook.

Through investigation, on September 14, 2021, the 389 inter-sectoral inspection team of Tuyen Quang province discovered that an individual was selling a large number of medical masks through the facebook account "Do Thi L" with signs of violation of legal regulations in the field of commerce.

By professional measures, the functional force has identified the object and the address, so the inspection should be carried out according to regulations.

At the time of inspection, the inspection team discovered that there were 13,350 4-layer medical masks packed in paper boxes (50 pieces/box). Ms. Do Thi L (store owner) failed to present papers and invoices proving the legitimacy of the goods.

The inspection team made a record of temporary seizure of all infringing goods to verify and clarify violations in accordance with law.
