Bac Kan: Promote quality measurement and standardization activities to contribute to socio-economic development
Standardization and quality measurement activities in Bac Kan province in recent years have contributed to the province's socio-economic development.

So far, the quality assurance activities have guided and supported hundreds of organizations and individuals to register for the use of barcodes, widely disseminated the National Standard System (TCVN) and the National  Technical Regulations System (QCVN); Maintain, preserve and exploit well recognized metrological standards.

Conformity assessment activities, including designation of inspection, calibration and testing are increasingly enhanced; Inspection activities are promoted, in the regular inspection work, the propaganda and guidance of organizations and individuals in the observance and implementation of regulations on quality measurement standards in production and business activities are integrated; The productivity and quality movement has been implemented in the whole Bac Kan province, which has positively impacted the awareness of the whole society on the productivity and quality issues associated with standards, metrology and quality.

The above activities contribute to the improvement of the quality of products and goods of the province and increase the competitiveness in commercial transactions.

The work of standards, measurement and quality has been interested and focused by the provincial leaders to quickly integrate the province's products into the national economy. The Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the People's Committee have issued many guiding and executive documents affecting all fields and industries related to quality measurement standards, demonstrating organization, content and mode of operation; ensure the unified management in management, and at the same time strengthen the socialization and autonomy of organizations and individuals; ensure integration requirements, in order to approach and be more suitable for each stage of socio-economic development of the province.

Accordingly, the Department of Standards, Metrology Quality in Bac Kan province is increasingly proactive and upholds its responsibility in state management and public services management in the field of standards, metrology and quality in the province. Strengthening and innovating activities to support enterprises to improve competitiveness, bar code operations, and traceability.
