Bac Giang: Inspecting 25 markets in the area, detecting a number of violating measuring devices

Accordingly, the task force inspected 17 petrol stations in the districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Yen The, Lang Giang and Bac Giang city. In particular, the Thanh Luong petroleum trading shop of the United States Import-Export Limited Company, Thanh Luong village, Quang Thinh commune (Lang Giang) has not yet fully complied with regulations on quality management, such as developing a process to control storage tanks, have not carried out periodical self-inspection of petrol and oil metering columns. With these violations, the working group makes a minute to ask the enterprise to rectify within 10 days.
In addition, the working group continued to survey group 2 measuring instruments at 25 markets in the province, determining that a number of used scales had expired inspection, the lead clamp seal was no longer available, the scale was dented; some measuring instruments exceed the allowable error. Previously, through the inspection of law enforcement for establishments using electronic scales (car scales) at 13 establishments, it was found that although they were all inspected and attached with lead stamps, the establishment did not fully store the unlabelled test certificate.
Similarly, through the inspection of 14 enterprises on quality measurement standards, 9 enterprises found violations with the following errors: Not yet labeled products and goods; have not yet carried out the procedures for registration of standard conformity announcement.
Along with that, the Bac Giang Department of Standards, Metrology, and Quality has also implemented many measures to limit the trading of counterfeit goods, imitation goods, poor quality goods, expired goods, insufficient quantity and food safety. In addition to regular inspection and inspection, the Department promotes propaganda of the State's regulations on measurement management to people and businesses. So far, the situation of fraud in basic measurement has decreased sharply, the phenomenon of inaccurate weighing at markets and trade centers has been limited.
