Communication 'takes wings' for innovative start-ups
Communication will be the 'launching pad' to take startups far.

In early 2021, the Prime Minister added Decision No.188 to expand Project 844 on approving the project to support the national innovation startup ecosystem until 2025. Mr. Pham Hong Quat, Director of the Department Developing markets and enterprises in Science and Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology will play the role of building an innovation start-up culture and transmitting key models or technologies deployed in the country.

In October 2021, the communication network in the innovation startup ecosystem at home and abroad will be deployed. The Ministry of Science and Technology has determined that communication will be the glue that holds together the components of the national support network.

Therefore, the Ministry of Science and Technology has cooperated with the State Committee of overseas Vietnamese to connect reputable experts and technology Making people abroad to establish a consulting network on innovation and technology transfer for the startup ecosystem in the country. In the domestic dimension, incubators, universities, and media units must also connect with startups to transfer technologies and knowledge from the network and have their own orientation.

For the period of 2021-2025 , the Ministry of Science and Technology will promote the development of Vietnam's innovative startup ecosystem in the regional and world map. The bridge will be typical stories from professional fields and technology villages in the series of national TECHFEST, international TECHFEST, specialized TECHFEST events organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Mrs. Le Mai Anh, Director of Global PR Hub, said that most startups have ambitions to go beyond Vietnam and access international markets, so the media will help them explore the new market better. According to Mrs. Mai Anh, Vietnamese startups need to be more active not only in workshops, articles and competitions but also in business connections and trade promotion.

Mr. Le Quoc Vinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Le Invest (Holdings) Corporation, said that the role of the media is not simply to introduce but also to create a market and environment for startups to be successful encouragement. The problem for communicators is figuring out how to interact with people accessing information. They must lead listeners through specific journeys of experiences, according to each person's needs.

According to Mr. Pham Anh Chien, Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Content Development & Production (VTV Digital), Vietnam Television, in order to achieve the above new goal, leading media units have a large audience will have the role of creating social effects as a bridge between technologists and users. The public needs to have access to technology products before they can be applied, and when they know what technologies will bring, the public will be excited to wait.

New technology will be the key to driving growth

According to Mr. Thuc Vu, CEO of OhmniLabs, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has spurred the development of the robotics industry. “In the future, thanks to robots we can travel remotely. You can sit in Vietnam and go shopping in Paris, visit a museum in New York and finally go back to Tokyo to attend a meeting," Mr. Vu said.

Along with robots, artificial intelligence (AI) changes the way humans communicate with each other. Mr. Bui Hai Hung, Director of VinAl Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, said that with the development of Vietnam as well as the potentials of Vietnamese people and organizations; The potential of AI will be huge in the near future.
