Opening of Hai Phong Innovation Week and Startup Festival- Techfest Haiphong 2021
In the morning of September 28, the Department of Science and Technology cooperated with Hai Phong Youth Union and Hai Phong University to organize Hai Phong Innovation Week and Startup Festival (Techfest Haiphong 2021) at the Department of Science and Technology.

Hai Phong Youth Union Dao Phu Thuy Duong; Rector of Hai Phong University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam; The agencies of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Departments; Universities, Colleges, Research Institutes; Organizations, associations, start-up support organizations; Corporations and businesses in the city. In addition, at the bridge points were attended by representatives of the Departments of Science and Technology of 62 provinces/cities across the country and representatives of leading companies with online exhibition stores.

The new feature of Techfest Haiphong this year is to be held in directly and online; events taking place are recorded and broadcast live across multiple platforms; stores displaying and introducing products of enterprises are digitized on 3D online exhibitions, friendly interface is easy to use with 123 stores of corporations, large enterprises, startups from more than 30 localities in the country and the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan - China. The fields of display and introduction of products/services include: digital technology, smart manufacturing, processing and manufacturing technologies and other emerging technologies; Realistic 3D technology was applied to the exhibition for the first time.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam said that in the context of technology developing strongly at an unprecedented rate as today, innovation activities play an important role more than ever. Techfest Haiphong 2021 is an opportunity for us to think together, change our perspective, take action to promote innovation in the new situation. This is also an opportunity to sow the seeds of aspiration, light up the passion for creativity and start-up for the young generation, future entrepreneurs.

Within the framework of the event, representatives of leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology and leaders of the city pressed the button to open the Hai Phong Innovation Week and Startup Festival (Techfest Haiphong 2021).

Techfest Haiphong 2021 will take place from September 28 to October 5 with a series of events held at the headquarters of the Department of Science and Technology, Hai Phong University and Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park. This is an opportunity for businesses to connect, cooperate and share resources to develop innovation, creating attraction for corporations, businesses, and investors for the city's innovation and start-up ecosystem.
