Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology: Implement the project of strengthening the organizational structure of specialized agencies at city and district levels

In order to implement the Decision No. 1344/QD-UBND dated June 24, 2021 of the Can Tho City People's Committee on the approval of the Project on strengthening the organizational structure of specialized agencies at the city and district levels; Decision No. 2097/QD-UBND dated September 16, 2021 on the reorganization of specialized departments and the dissolution of organizations under the Department under the Department of Science and Technology.

In the afternoon of October 14, 2021, Can Tho city Department of Science and Technology held an announcement on the decisions on mobilization and appointment of cadres after a period of preparation and implementation of the order and procedures for appointing civil servants according to the law. The appointment of managers is to meet the requirements and tasks in the immediate as well as in the long term, contributing to the overall development of the Industry.

According to the approved project, the organizational structure of the Department of Science and Technology currently has an Office, Department Inspection and specialized divisions, including: Science Management Division, Technology Development and Innovation Division, Specialized Management Division and units under the Department, including Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, Science and Technology Information Center, Center for Application of Science and Technology Advancement, Vietnam - Korea Industry Technology Incubator.

Speaking at the announcement of the cadre decision, Mr. Ngo Anh Tin, Director of the Department of Science and Technology congratulated the appointed civil servants and emphasized, this is an honor, pride, and great responsibility for each manager and expect the appointed officers to continue to make efforts to learn, promote their capacity, forte and work experiences, to strive harder to successfully fulfill their assigned responsibilities.
