Attending the training, there were more than 200 delegates and students from agencies, departments, universities, research institutes, businesses and inventors and scientists.

Prof. Dr. Tran Quoc Thang, former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, emphasized that intellectual property is an effective tool to help businesses improve their competitiveness and further create a driving force for development economy of each country. However, there are many regrettable lessons about "losing cows to build stables", that is, forgetting to register to establish IP rights for these IPs, leading to being appropriated and registered by others at home and abroad; or become a common property of the community. In addition, the exploitation of patent and technology information can also serve for research to avoid duplication, orientation for production and business development in the knowledge economy and business, digital economy. Therefore, the provision of information, knowledge, skills and capacity building for staffs directly in charge of managing intellectual property of universities, research institutes, enterprises, and inventors is very important.

Meanwhile, the speaker, Lawyer Vu Manh Hung, Director of the VUGIA&PARTNER law firm, said that we often hear about pioneering technology, taking technology shortcuts or standing on the shoulders of giants, but in reality only there is a way to go up by the intellectual property, and that intellectual property in technology can only be an invention. Thence, it is possible to create personal and business assets, and even create resources for the country.

In addition, she shared a number of domestic and foreign websites for searching, along with the advantages and disadvantages of each type of website.
