Meeting of Council to accept results of city-level S&T tasks "Study on solutions to promote technology transfer, application and innovation activities in Can Tho City"
In the afternoon of October 22, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology organized the Science and Technology Council to accept the project: "Research on solutions to promote technology transfer, application and innovation in Can Tho City." The study is carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chi Ngon. Can Tho City Union of Science and Technology Associations is a presiding unit.

Overview of meeting

The research is conducted with the aim of studying, assessing the current situation, proposing specific solutions to promote technology transfer, application and innovation in order to effectively implement the Law on Technology Transfer 2017 in Can Tho City.

Council's members

Over the implementation period, the project has researched and evaluated the current status of technology transfer, application and innovation in Can Tho city in the fields of agriculture, industry and services of Can Tho city; Proposing common solutions for the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030 to promote these activities.

Research team

The research results of the project will contribute to creating a theoretical and practical basis for assessing the current status of technology transfer, application and innovation, analyzing advantages, difficulties and causes in the process of developing technologies. Thence, propose solutions to promote these activities in Can Tho city to contribute to sustainable socio-economic development. When solutions and policies are promulgated, they will contribute to creating a favorable environment to encourage cooperation among State management agencies, businesses and institutes and universities to promote technology application, transfer and innovation activities in the city.

The Council has agreed to accept the project, but the research team needs to edit and add some contents according to the comments of the council members.
