Promoting the application of 4.0 technology in the development of the Logistics ecosystem in the Mekong Delta
Applying 4.0 technology in developing the Logistics ecosystem is a workshop organized by the Science and Technology Information Center under Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology in the morning of October 29, 2021 through the live and online form. The workshop brought a lot of useful information about digital transformation in logistics supply chain and 4.0 technology applications in management and operation of warehousing and transportation systems.

Overview of the workshop

The 4.0 technology era is having a strong boom and has made profound changes in the entire service industry worldwide in general and logistics in particular. In Vietnam, the logistics supply chain is currently one of the industries with many improvements in the application of 4.0 technology and has made new breakthroughs in each stage.

To introduce 4.0 technology applications in operating the Logistics ecosystem to individuals/organizations/enterprises; create an environment for individuals/organizations/enterprises to meet, exchange and connect optimal solutions from 4.0 technology application in the development of the Logistics ecosystem; The Science and Technology Information Center under Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a workshop on "Application of 4.0 technology in the development of the Logistics ecosystem."

Attending the workshop, there were Mr. Vu Minh Hai - Director of Can Tho Science and Technology Information Center, Mrs. Nguyen Hoang Oanh and Mrs. Le Nguyen Trung Khanh - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Scientific Information and Technology Center, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of KMi Institute of Knowledge Management, Rector of Tue Duc International College VABIS, Mr. Le Thanh Nhuan - CEO and Founder of Technology and Transformation Investment Company Number AlphaGroup, Ms. Lai Do Phuong Vi - Sales Director of Smartlog Supply Chain Solutions Joint Stock Company, Mr. Pham Nam Long - CEO and Founder of Abivin Company and more than 80 delegates attending in person and online representing for departments, branches, institutes, schools, Union of Science and Technology Associations, Science and Technology Information Center, Market Management Department and business community in the provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of KMi Institute of Knowledge Management, Rector of Tue Duc VABIS International College and Mr. Le Thanh Nhuan - CEO and Founder of AlphaGroup Digital Transformation and Technology Investment Company presented digital transformation content in supply chain operation management (SCM 4.0) and awareness and application of smart warehouses in practice.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Mr. Vu Minh Hai - Director of Can Tho City Science and Technology Information Center affirmed the role and importance of 4.0 technology application in the process of operating the logistics ecosystem in the current period. At the workshop, delegates heard the reporter share contents related to digital transformation in supply chain operation management (SCM 4.0), awareness and application of smart warehouse solutions in practice, transport management solutions (STM) and transport exchange (STX) solutions and digital transformation of the logistics industry to reduce logistics costs.

Mrs. Lai Do Phuong Vi - Sales Director of Smartlog Supply Chain Solutions Joint Stock Company introduced the transport management solution (STM) and the transportation exchange solution (STX).

Mr. Pham Nam Long - CEO and Founder of Abivin Company gave some contents related to digital transformation of the logistics industry to reduce logistics costs.

The workshop opened an opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to meet and discuss issues related to Logistics activities as well as offer optimization solutions to help reduce costs and improve quality of service, productivity and operational efficiency. Thereby, contributing to promoting supply and demand activities and developing the technology market in the field of logistics in the Mekong Delta.
