Training on Registration, recognition and exploitation of initiatives
On November 12, 2021, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology organized a training course on registration, recognition and exploitation of initiatives for agencies, units and localities in an online form in order to deploy Declaring and implementing the provisions of the law on initiatives, improving basic skills in writing initiatives.

Overview of the training session

Attending the training course, there were Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Hoang Anh - Specialist of Legal and Policy Department - National Office of Intellectual Property; Mrs. Tran Thi Thanh Diep, Head of Specialized Management Department, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology.

Attending the training course, delegates heard the contents of Introduction of regulations on the initiative; Guidance on application for registration and recognition of initiatives; Effectively use and exploit the initiative; Implement Resolution No. 12/2020/NQ-HDND dated December 4, 2020 of the City People's Council on stipulating the content and spending levels from the State budget to implement initiative activities. In addition, the training class also spent time discussing the above contents.

The training course was organized to further promote the initiative movement of the city at all levels, branches and units. Every year, the Department has coordinated with the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam to organize training on registration, recognition and exploitation of initiatives, implementation of legal documents regulating initiatives, guiding units to register and consider and select typical initiatives with novelty, creativity, and socio-economic efficiency, wide application scope, prepare an initiative registration dossier.

Through this training course, the delegates were able to improve their initiative activities, promote innovation in the coming time in order to honor employees as well as help organize the city's initiative activities well.
