The 2nd Startup and Innovation Forum in the Mekong Delta - "Take advantage of opportunities, create breakthrough momentum"
In the morning of December 28, 2021, Can Tho city Department of Science and Technology of coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology Market and Enterprises Development under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Can Tho Youth Union and other units related to organize the 2nd online Forum on Startup and Innovation in the Mekong Delta, at the hall of Can Tho Science and Technology Information Center.

The goal of the forum is to connect resources to support the development of an innovative startup ecosystem, startup and innovation activities of Can Tho city and the Mekong Delta provinces.

Attending the forum, there were Mr. Pham Hong Quat - Director of the Department of Science and Technology Market (NATEC); Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuong Linh (VCCI); Mr. Vu Minh Hai - Director of Can Tho City Information Science and Technology Center (CASTI); Mr. Le Toan Thang - Deputy Director of the National Center for Support for Innovative Startups; Mr. Pham Minh Quoc - Director of Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technology Incubator; Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - General Director of TRUSTpay Joint Stock Company, and 1,000 delegates are representatives of organizations, individuals, businesses, institutes, schools, management agencies, start-up support organizations, investors, investment funds, individuals, groups of individuals and innovative startup enterprises inside and outside the city.

The 2nd Startup and Innovation Forum in the Mekong Delta is an event that combines the display and online exhibition of typical innovative startup products and projects and the forum program with the topic: Innovation start-up - Take advantage of opportunities, create breakthrough momentum. The event aims to promote linkages and synergies between components in the innovation startup ecosystem and between localities in the Mekong Delta, analyze and offer appropriate solutions for development. Local innovation and start-up activities safely and flexibly adapt to the COVID-19 epidemic situation.

In particular, the highlight and novelty of the 2nd Startup and Innovation Forum in the Mekong Delta is the events that are recorded and broadcast live on multiple platforms; booths to display and introduce products of individuals, groups of individuals and innovative start-ups are digitized on 2D, 3D, virtual reality, user-friendly interfaces with about 80 stolres in the fields of agriculture, smart tourism, pioneering technologies, healthcare, breakthrough products/solutions in the prevention of COVID-19 epidemic, solutions to solve interestedly local problems to contribute to promoting economic and social development.

The forum is an opportunity for innovative startup individuals, groups of individuals and businesses to connect with a community of experts, advisors, investors, investment funds and prestigious support organizations to promote start-up activities, join forces to offer solutions to develop innovative start-up ecosystems in Can Tho city and the Mekong Delta in the new normal period.
