Viettel has 2 more patents protected exclusively in the US
On January 4, 2022, the United States Patent and Trademark Administration (USPTO) recognized an exclusive patent in the US for 2 registrations of Viettel High-Tech Industry Corporation (VHT), a Member of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel).

It is the invention "Broadband Dual Polarized Antenna" which provides a compact structure antenna, wide bandwidth enough for high-speed information processing; and “Large Zoom Ratio Continuous Zoom Mid-Wave Infrared Lens” offers built-in observation features with a range of tens of kilometers, providing high-contrast images in a variety of harsh conditions.

Thus, in 2021, USPTO granted VHT 5 exclusive patents, bringing the total number of VHT's patents to 8, making VHT a Vietnamese high-tech enterprise with many patents exclusively protected by the US, covering all 3 fields of military, civil and telecommunications. Currently, the number of applications filed by VHT in the US is 39 patents.

Since 2017 and so far, VHT has had nearly 300 patent applications, of which the National Office of Intellectual Property (Ministry of Science and Technology) has granted 39 patents and 19 utility solutions. According to the National Office of Intellectual Property, in 2021, Viettel is the organization with the highest number of patent registrations in Vietnam. In 2021 alone, VHT has filed 66 Patent applications with the National Office of Intellectual Property. In which, by the beginning of January 2022, the number of patent applications of VHT has been accepted as 17 patents.

Mr. Nguyen Vu Ha - General Director of Viettel High-Tech Industry Corporation said that the patented technical solutions are solutions that meet novelty in the world, are practical and highly applicable, which solves the existing technical limitations in the field of registration.
