Hau Giang: Promoting the development of Vietnam's digital technology enterprises
Recently, the People's Committee of Hau Giang province has issued Plan No. 182/KH-UBND to develop digital technology businesses in the province for the period of 2021-2025, with an orientation to 2030.

By 2025, the province has about 100 enterprises producing, providing services, trading and distributing products in the field of information technology.

In order to identify specific tasks to be implemented in Hau Giang province to implement Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 14, 2020 of the Prime Minister on promoting the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises, in sync with the promulgated programs, projects and plans to build e-Government and digital transformation in the province. Step by step build and develop digital technology enterprises providing information technology application solutions, building e-Government, digital transformation for agencies, organizations and individuals in the province and in the region, contributing to the development of the province's digital economy.

Accordingly, the goal is that by 2025, the province will have about 100 enterprises producing, providing services, trading and distributing products in the field of information technology, of which there are 5 digital technology enterprises capable of providing digital solutions, services and products to serve digital transformation, development of digital government, digital economy and digital society for agencies, organizations and businesses in the province.

The goal is that by 2030, the whole province has about 200 enterprises producing, providing services, trading and distributing products in the field of information technology, of which there are 10 digital enterprises capable of providing information technology solutions, services and digital products for agencies, organizations and businesses in the province and the Southwest region.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee has proposed 06 groups of tasks and specific solutions for building and perfecting mechanisms and policies to develop digital technology enterprises; digital infrastructure development; digital technology product development; digital technology human resource development; developing markets for businesses and digital technology products; propagating, disseminating and raising awareness about the development of digital technology enterprises.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Information and Communications to assume the main responsibility and act as the focal point to advise and organize the implementation of activities to support and promote the development of digital technology enterprises.
