The workshop was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee, Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Tran Giang Khue - Deputy Head of Representative Office In the South, the National Office of Intellectual Property and more than 200 speakers and guests from organizations, businesses and individuals.

The purpose of the Workshop is to promote innovative activities to create useful values for life; strengthen activities to create intellectual property, improve the quality of human resources on innovation and intellectual property; forming and creating a culture of intellectual property in society; linking intellectual property rights with activities of innovation, research and development, production and business to serve socio-economic development; at the same time connecting the network of research, development, application, transfer and commercialization of S&T products and inventions among inventors, research organizations and enterprises.
