Attending the signing ceremony, there were Mr. Ngo Anh Tin, party members of the City - Director of Can Tho city Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Pham Truong Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Can Tho city, Mr. Tran Ngoc Nguyen – Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Can Tho city together with leaders of divisions, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Union of Science and Technology Associations Can Tho city and media agencies.
The signing ceremony of the program to coordinate science and technology activities for the period of 2021-2026 is part of a series of activities to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day 18-5.
Representatives of the units signed the program to coordinate scientific and technological activities for the period of 2021-2026, including the following key contents: capacity building for farmers, implementation of the agricultural and circular economy, implementing digital transformation, mobilizing scientists and professional organizations to participate in building new rural areas and ecological cities, strengthening agricultural extension activities, and applying scientific and technological advances to agricultural products export; building chain link model in production.
The association also signed a program to coordinate scientific and technological activities with the Department of Science and Technology with the following contents: mobilizing intellectuals, propagating and disseminating knowledge and laws on science and technology, carry out science and technology tasks, carry out consulting, critique and social assessment activities, organize contests, science and technology activities, organize Science and Technology Day in Vietnam, honoring typical intellectuals and scientists and etc.
