Situation and solutions to develop smart tourism system to attract tourists come to Can Tho city

In the afternoon of May 20, 2022, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology established a science and technology team to appraise the content and funding of the project "The current situation and solutions to develop a smart tourism system to attract tourists come to "Can Tho city." The appraisal team was led by Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho city Department of Science and Technology. The study is carried out by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ha Nam Khanh Giao. Vietnam Aviation Academy is the unit in charge of implementing the project.

The research is carried out to assess the actual situation of building and developing smart tourism system in Can Tho city; Proposing a model of applying smart tourism system to attract tourists come to Can Tho city; Proposing solutions to deploy smart tourism model in Can Tho city.

Research contents: Assessing the actual situation of smart tourism construction and development in Can Tho city; Discover and measure the needs and expectations of the authorities, people and visitors about the elements of the smart tourism system in tourist destination of Can Tho city and the choice of tourists to travel here related objects; Application model of smart tourism system at Cai Rang Floating Market, Can Tho City; Proposing solutions and policies to develop smart tourism system of tourist destinations in Can Tho city.

The project has practical significance, contributing to the development of guidelines and policies for the development of a smart tourism system in Can Tho City, thereby promoting the city's socio-economic development.

The appraisal team approved the content and budget for the implementation of the project according to the State's regulations. However, the research team need to adjust some contents according to the comments of the members of the appraisal team.
