Vietnam Blockchain Association and Binance signed cooperation agreement
Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate to popularize blockchain in three areas: training, research and technology application.

The cooperation signing ceremony took place within the framework of the Vietnam NFT Summit 2022 event jointly organized by the Vietnam Blockchain Association and Binance in the morning of June 4 in Hanoi.

Speaking at the Summit event, Mr. Phan Duc Trung - Standing Vice President of Vietnam Blockchain Association - said, "Blockchain is a fundamental technology, applied not only in the fintech field but also in other fields, such as state management of land, identity technology and etc.; not only used by startups, but also brings many benefits to traditional companies."

At the same time, he commented, "This is a young and risky industry; even countries with the most advanced legal systems, such as the US and Europe are still having legal disputes, leading to users do not fully and comprehensively understand blockchain technology."

Meanwhile, Mr. Changpeng Zhao - CEO of Binance - emphasized, how countries apply blockchain technology today will have a profound impact on the future of the local economy and the world in genernal. According to Mr. Changpeng Zhao, more and more countries show determination in grasping and properly applying blockchain technology in life.

Regarding the cooperation between Vietnam Blockchain Association and Binance, Mr. Phan Duc Trung expressed that the participation of this world's largest blockchain company by market capitalization will promote the formation of a blockchain application economy in Vietnam. The Vietnam Blockchain Association will join Binance to promote blockchain application step by step in Vietnam. The association not only plays the role of connecting and gathering the local community but also a bridge to bring Vietnamese products to the world, as well as attracting international resources to Vietnam."

The two sides will cooperate in key activities including: popularizing blockchain in 3 areas: training, research and technology application; and support and consult in discussions on the legal framework in the development of digital assets, distributed ledger technology.

Previously, Binance was licensed to operate in France, Italy, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, etc., showing that the company always complies with local regulations related to ellectronic money.
