The delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology visited and worked with the branch of the Institute of Applied Technology in Ho Chi Minh City
On June 4, 2022, Branch of Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Technology Application was pleased to welcome the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology to visit and work at the Branch.

Attending the mission, there were Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Director in charge of Southern Department of Work, Ministry of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Thai Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology in Ho Chi Minh City. On the side of Institute of Technology Application, there were Mr. Nguyen Phu Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and Mr. Hoang Ngoc Nhan, Deputy Director.

At the meeting, Mr. Truong Minh Ngoc- Branch Director reported some results of the unit's operation in recent time, specifically: in addition to the tasks assigned by the Institute's leaders, the branch focused on effectively research and deploy a number of useful products and solutions for the development of sustainable organic agriculture, circular agriculture, urban agriculture, and agriculture adapting to climate change in the Mekong Delta.

Visiting the branch's research and production facilities, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Giang shared the difficulties and limitations in facilities and equipment for research and production at the branch. The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the Branch in overcoming limitations, producing many products as a result of research tasks to apply to actual production conditions in agriculture in the southern provinces.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Minister suggested that the branch team promote the inherent strengths of the unit, gradually overcome difficulties, unite and unite to develop the unit to a new position, truly becoming the extended arm of the Institute of Technology Application and worthy of the trust entrusted by the Institute's leaders and the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Deputy Minister also discussed that the leaders of the Ministry would consider the Institute's proposals to strengthen the research and deployment capacity of the Branch in order to promote the Institute's activities in the Southern region, a dynamic region and potential in the application of science and technology,... On behalf of the collective of employees at the unit, Mr. Truong Minh Ngoc received the direction of Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Giang, thanked the Deputy Minister and the delegation for visit and work at the Branch.
