Advisory Council determines S&T tasks at city level to implement in 2023 - Social field
In the morning of July 5, 2022, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a meeting of the Advisory Council, determining the city-level science and technology tasks to be implemented in 2023 - in the social field.

The proposed city-level scientific and technological tasks in the social field in 2023 include: (1) Shifting the agricultural labor force of the districts to industry and service in Can Tho city by 2030; (2) Implementation of innovation policy and application of technology in agriculture in Can Tho city – Current situation and solutions; (3) Solutions to improve the ability to work in an international environment of leaders and managers at the city level in Can Tho; (4) The situation and solutions to support orphans affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Can Tho city; (5) Research and propose solutions to improve the economic life of Khmer people in Can Tho city; (6) Propagating and disseminating legal policies on digital transformation and e-commerce application for small and medium enterprises in Can Tho.
The members of the Council are experts, scientists, managers with practical experiences in the field of economics - policy, and the units that are expected to benefit from the research results.
The committee analyzed, discussed and evaluated the ordering proposals on urgency, interdisciplinaryity, the importance of the scientific problem posed in the order proposal, the possibility of non-duplication of science and technology tasks, local programs and projects that have been implemented and are being implemented, the need mobilize resources for implementation, the implementation plan, the time and the need for funding for implementation. Thereby, the Council made recommendations on scientific and technological tasks to order, as a basis for the Department of Science and Technology to synthesize a list and submit to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for approval of science and technology tasks implemented in 2023.
