Advisory Council identifies S&T tasks at city level to be implemented in 2023 - Health sector (Health care and services)

In the morning of July 12, 2022, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a meeting of the Advisory Council to determine the city-level science and technology tasks to be implemented in 2023 - in the field of Health (Health care and healthcare service).

The city-level scientific and technological task proposals in the field of Health (Health Care and healthecare Services) in 2023 include: (1) Building a model to predict the progression of severe disease SARS CoV-2 based on on genotypic analysis and a clinical feature of the Vietnamese population in Can Tho city; (2) Research on the health status and quality of life of post-COVID-19 patients in 03 districts of O Mon - Thoi Lai - Thot Not, Can Tho city; (3) Researching solutions to improve the effectiveness of post-COVID-19 health care for people in Can Tho city; (4) Actual situation of practice and solutions to prevent respiratory infections in patients with COPD in Vietnam; (5) Research and build a model of health collaborators, population and children in Can Tho city.

Members of the Council are experts, scientists, managers with practical experiences in the field of Health (Health care and healthcare services).

The committee analyzes, discusses and evaluates the ordering proposals on urgency, interdisciplinaryity, the importance of the scientific problem posed in the order proposal, the possibility of non-duplication of science and technology tasks, local programs and projects that have been implemented and are being implemented, the need to mobilize resources for implementation, the implementation plan, the time and the need for funding for implementation. Thereby, the Council made recommendations on scientific and technological tasks to order, as a basis for the Department of Science and Technology to synthesize a list and submit to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for approval of science and technology tasks implemented in 2023.
