The 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award-2023: Towards works with practical application
The award emphasizes the applicability to life, bringing efficiency and practical value, contributing to solving urgent problems in the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a plan to organize the 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award in 2023, to honor collectives and individuals with research, solutions and creative works in many fields.

This is an event organized by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City every two years, in order to arouse the creative potential of industries, levels, agencies, units and localities.

Through 2 times of organization, the Award attracted 306 entries, and 94 of them were awarded.

Participants in the 2023 Prize are authors (groups of authors) of research works, solutions and suitable works for one of seven areas: economic development; defence security; state management; the media; art literature; science and technology and innovation startup.

Entrants must be creative and put into practice (or works or compositions are built, performed, or published) within the time from the end of receiving dossiers, the organization considers and awards them the previous award to the end of receiving the dossier of the next awarding and awarding organization. The deadline for receiving the work is March 31, 2023.

The ceremony to announce and award the Award is expected to take place on the occasion of National Day (September 2, 2023). The first prize is 200 million VND, the second prize is 150 million VND, and the third prize is 100 million VND.

Research works, solutions and works suitable for one of the award's field groups will submit their application for participation in the Award to the agency in charge, specifically:

- Economic development: Department of Planning and Investment;

- Field of defense and security: City Command;

- State management field: Department of Home Affairs;

- Communication field: Department of Information and Communications;

- The field of literature and art: Union of City Literary and Art Associations;

- The field of science and technology: Union of City Science and Technology Associations

- Innovative start-ups: Department of Science and Technology.

- Innovative start-ups: Department of Science and Technology.
