Hung Yen: Promote inspection of measuring instruments in the province
In July, Hung Yen Province's Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality carried out the inspection of 1,349 measuring instruments of all kinds; calibrate, inspect and issue inspection certificates and stamps for 1,349 measuring instruments of of all kinds.

The Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality of Hung Yen province has popularized and guided enterprises in the province to implement the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations; Law on Product and Goods Quality; Law on Measurement; disseminate and guide relevant organizations and individuals to implement Regulations on announcement of standard conformity, announcement of regulation conformity and methods of assessing conformity with standards and technical regulations.
In addition, the Department has also issued 04 notices of announcement of standard conformity, 14 notices of announcement of regulation conformity, received 79 registrations for quality inspection of imported steel to meet the quality requirements of imported goods for 10 enterprises in the province; Receive notifications on draft technical documents of WTO member countries sent by the Vietnam TBT office via the TBT network's web portal and forward it to relevant organizations and individuals in the province.
Answer and guide businesses and issues related to standards, technical regulations, conformity assessment process and technical barriers in trade.;
The Department chaired and advised the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology to successfully organize the Scientific Workshop "Traceability of products and goods in accordance with National Standards TCVN 12850:2019 associated with the advanced program for productivity and quality of products and goods of Hung Yen province in the period of 2021-2030”.
The Department has checked on standards, measurement and labeling of goods at 18 enterprises in the province. As a result, 18/18 enterprises provided legal documents related to the management and use of group II measuring instruments and management records on standards and labeling of products and goods fully according to regulations; using group 2 electrical devices that have been controlled in terms of measurement and are still valid for verification; 100% of the survey equipments were inspected to meet the metrological requirements for the quantity of the surveying activities as prescribed in the Circular No. 21/2014/TT-BKHCN of the Minister of Science and Technology;
State inspection of standards, measurement, quality and labels of goods at 12 enterprises in the province. As a result, 12/12 enterprises used measuring instruments that were controlled in terms of measurement and were still valid for verification; 10/12 enterprises apply the still valid TCVN ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015; carry out labeling of products and goods according to the provisions of Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP and Decree No. 111/2011/ND-CP.
