Ba Ria - Vung Tau organizes innovation startup competition
The contest is organized by the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, in order to support and promote innovation and start-up activities in the province.

Contestants are divided into 2 groups: Individuals or start-up groups (no more than 5 people, regardless of geography and age); and Enterprises and organizations established in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Contest entries are ideas, start-up projects in all industries, fields of production, business and services. Encourage start-up ideas and projects in industries and fields with the province's socio-economic development orientation (industry, supporting industries, seaports and port logistics services, tourism services, high-tech agriculture) and ideas and start-up projects with technology applications. Each object can participate in one or more ideas and projects.
Scoring criteria include Innovation; Commercialization ability, growth ability; Special competitive advantages of ideas and projects; Level of impact and significance in terms of socio-economics; Implementation resources; Presentation skills (for Semi-Finals and Finals).
Prizes in the individual and start-up groups: 1 first prize of 30 million VND; 1 second prize 20 million vnd; 1 third prize 10 million VND and 3 consolation prizes, each prize 5 million VND. In the Table of Enterprises and Organizations, there is a first prize of 40 million VND; 1 second prize 30 million vnd; 1 third prize 20 million VND and 3 consolation prizes, 8 million VND/ each prize.
In addition, the winning projects are prioritized to receive support according to provincial policies or participate in the implementation of provincial science and technology tasks; and was introduced to participate in regional and national startup competitions organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The last date to submit the application form is September 30, 2022.
