The Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality worked with the Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong province
The Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality and the Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong province had a discussion on state management activities on standards, measurement and quality (QCQC) and orientation of a number of important tasks focus on standards, metrology and quality in the province in the following years.

The delegation's representative, Mr. Ha Minh Hiep - Deputy Director is in charge of Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality. On the side of the Department of Science and Technology, there were the attendance of Mrs. Pham Thi Nham - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Le Duc Tho - Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and Quality, and a number of officials from the Department's Office, Department Inspectors, Specialized Technology Management Division and Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Duc Tho - Director of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality introduced the organizational structure and activities of the Department in recent times. At the same time, Mr. Le Duc Tho also posed a number of obstacles and difficulties during the implementation of tasks and management activities.

The first is that the Department wants the Directorate to organize a specialized inspection class for the Departments in order to issue inspection cards to officials so that the inspection process is more convenient.

Secondly, the Department realizes that the local traceability is still confusing and needs support on how to implement and the process of building a local traceability information management system.

Third, for Project 996 on enhancing innovation in measurement activities to support Vietnamese enterprises to improve their competitiveness and international integration in the period up to 2025, with orientation to 2030, the Department has many questions about the support method, norms and legal basis that need to be answered.

Fourth, in Circular No. 35/2021/TT-BTC with the national program to support enterprises to improve productivity and quality of products and goods in the period of 2021-2030, the Department still faces many difficulties in management according to science and technology tasks and need to be supported and consulted for local implementation. Finally, the Department also wants the Directorate to give specific directions and instructions to deploy the electronic ISO system in the locality.

After listening to the recommendations and problems in the process of management and operation of the Department and the Department, Deputy Director Ha Minh Hiep gave a detailed analysis of legal policies and proposed each suitable solution to overcome the above difficulties. Thereby, the representative of the Directoarte of Standards, Metrology and Quality also grasped the operation situation and recorded the recommendations close to the reality of the Department.
