Number of LPG gas cylinders with forged trademarks were seized at business establishments
Kien Giang Province's Market Management Department has directed Market Management teams to focus on essential commodities, such as petrol, gas, foods, etc.
Based on the information provided by the establishment that reports on the act of storing LPG bottles that are not owned by them without an LPG bottle purchase and sale contract, an LPG bottle rental contract, or without an agreement on the exchange of LPG bottles with LPG bottle owner, Market Management Team No. 1 has assigned civil servants to verify the above behavior. After verification, the leader of the Information Management Team No. 1 issued a decision on an unscheduled inspection.
Specifically, at 3:30 p.m., on August 8, 2022, the inspection team of the Market Management Team No. 1 of the Kien Giang Province Department of Market Management conducted a surprise inspection of a GAS trading company in Vinh Hoa Hiep commune, Chau Thanh district, Kien Giang province.
Through inspection, the inspection team discovered that the goods at the business establishment were 102 LPG bottles, brand name DUYPHAT, type 12kg/bottle without legal records, showing signs of storing LPG bottles that are not owned by them without any legal documents, LPG bottle purchase and sale contract, LPG bottle rental contract as prescribed at Point b, Clause 3, Article 45, Decree No. 99/2020/ND-CP dated August 26, 2020.
The inspection team made a record of temporary seizure and sealing of all the above-mentioned goods, and organized inspection and verification for handling in accordance with law.
Through this case, Kien Giang Province's Market Management Department recommends that gas traders in the province need to learn and understand the regulations in the process of doing business. Violations will be strictly handled in accordance with current law.
