Training for NOIP staffs on the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Intellectual Property Law”
On August 9, 2022, the NOIP organized a training course "Introduction to the Law on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Intellectual Property Law" for NOIP staffs with the aim of popularizing change new contents and discuss issues for the professional work of the Department.

For the purpose of disseminating the contents of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Intellectual Property Law approved by the National Assembly on June 16, 2022 to NOIP staffs, on August 9, 2022 NOIP has organized a training course on "Introduction to the Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Intellectual Property Law."

Attending the training course, there were NOIP Director Dinh Huu Phi, deputy directors and leaders and staffs of 17 units under NOIP. Speaking at the opening of the training course, Director Dinh Huu Phi emphasized the role and importance of amending and supplementing the Law on Intellectual Property.

The process of amending and supplementing the IP Law has the participation of many relevant agencies and organizations with the aim of institutionalizing the guidelines and lines of the Party and the State's policies in the new context, overcoming obstacles, problems and inadequacies in the practice of implementing the IP Law over the past 15 years and ensuring the implementation of international commitments. Timely dissemination of amendments and supplements is necessary and early implementation, first of all, NOIP staffs  ensure proper understanding and application.

The speakers presented at the training course are staffs of the Legal and Policy Divisions - experts who are directly involved in researching and developing the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the IP Law.

The content presented at the training course ranges from general issues to each object of industrial property rights: inventions, layout designs of semiconductor integrated circuits, industrial designs, trademarks, geographical indications and the protection of intellectual property rights associated with the professional work of the NOIP.

The discussion section chaired by the Deputy Directors received many requests to answer questions as well as comments on the contents that need to be further researched, perfected policies and laws and implemented the expertise work in the NOIP according to new regulations.

To ensure that the contents of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Intellectual Property Law are properly implemented in practice, the NOIP will coordinate with agencies and organizations to continue disseminating the Law in the coming time for relevant groups of subjects, and at the same time continue to develop detailed guidelines according to the plan.
