On August 19, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Center for Research and Development of the High-Tech Park (SHTPLABS) and the Institute of Computational Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City (ICST) signed a cooperation agreement to jointly propose and implement S&T tasks in the fields of materials science, life, environment, computing technology and putting research results into practice.
Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate in researching, designing, simulating, manufacturing micro-mechanical components, applied in industries and medical; research, calculation and fabrication of nanostructured materials (graphene, nano gold, nano silver), for industrial applications. In addition, the two sides together, develop and compile scientific documents on the research and application of science and technology at the two units.
Over the past time, SHTPLABS and ICST have carried out the S&T task "Research, design and calculate the spectroscopic spectroscopy of gold nanostructures, by computational methods of quantum chemistry and comparison with experiments, to fabricate gold nanostructures with structure triangle and star dipole by microwave method, applied as an antibacterial agent, towards creating products that support the treatment of dermatitis". From this research result, the two sides have successfully commercialized the ACNE GOLDSTAR treatment product using gold nano-star form.
In addition, the two sides also carried out the task of studying the influence of environmental humidity on the quality factor and the resonant frequency of the resonant MEMS cantilever. The research results have been published in the SpringerLink electronic journal.
