Signing cooperation agreement SHTPLABS - ICST: Increasing the application of scientific research results into practice
On August 19, Ho Chi Minh City Center for Research and Development of Hi-Tech Park (SHTPLABS) and Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Computational Science and Technology (ICST) signed a cooperation agreement to jointly propose and implement science and technology tasks, linking computational science and technology with experimentation in the fields of materials science, life, environment and applied math technology.

Representatives of SHTPLABS and ICST announced the contents of the cooperation agreement.

Accordingly, the two sides will work together to research, design, simulate, and manufacture micro-mechanical components for applications in industries and healthcare; research, calculate and fabricate nanostructured materials (graphene, nano gold, nano silver) for industrial application. In addition, the two sides together, develop and compile scientific documents on the research and application of science and technology at the two units.

Over the past time, SHTPLABS and ICST have carried out scientific and technological tasks, including the study and design of gold nanostructure spectroscopy by quantum chemical calculation method and comparison with experiments, fabrication of gold nanoparticles with triangular and star bipyramidal structures by microwave method; application as an antibacterial agent, aiming to create products that support the treatment of dermatitis. From this research result, the two sides have successfully commercialized the treatment product ACNE Goldstar using nano gold star.

In addition, the two sides also carry out the task of studying the influence of environmental humidity on the quality factor and the resonant frequency of the resonant MEMS cantilever. Research results have been published in the electronic journal SpringerLink (https://link.springer.com).
