Research on the situation of puberty and some problems of reproductive health care of female junior high school pupils in Can Tho City"

In the morning of February 7, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology city held a meeting for the mid-term evaluation of the project "Research on the situation of puberty and some issues of reproductive health care of female junior high school pupils in Can Tho city”. The study is carried by Dr. Nguyen Tan Dat. Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy is a presiding organization.

Overview of the meeting

The implementation contents include: Determining the age of puberty, the rate of puberty and finding out a factor related to puberty before the age of 11 in junior high school girls in Can Tho city; Determine the correct knowledge and practice on reproductive health care of female pupils who have gone through puberty and propose interventions to communicate and educate female pupils on reproductive health.

Expected work to be done in the near future: Continue to implement and complete the goals: Determine the age of puberty, the rate of puberty and learn a factor related to puberty before 11 age of girls in lower secondary schools in Can Tho city; Determine the correct knowledge and practice on reproductive health care of female students who have reached puberty and propose interventions to communicate reproductive health education for female pupls.

Research team

The Council assessed the project implementation behind in schedule and agreed to the research team to extend the time to implement the project. In addition, the Council also gave some suggestions for the team to complete the content according to the explanatory outline.
