Speaking at the direction, comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang emphasized the positive results that Hai Duong has achieved in the past year in terms of socio-economic development, which has made an important contribution to the application of information technology and digital transformation.

He emphasized that digital transformation is an inevitable trend, it is necessary to quickly seize the development opportunities brought by digital transformation. To promote digital transformation in all fields, it is necessary to have the attention, leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, raising awareness and changing people's thinking about digital transformation. Must attract investment of enterprises, form digital enterprises. Mobilize and promote well resources in society for digital transformation.

2023 is identified as the year of digital data, that is to create and exploit digital data to create new value, in which it is necessary to focus on building and publishing open and protected databases, personal data, data safety. Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang requested all levels, branches and localities to continue propagating and raising awareness of the entire political system from the province to the commune level about the necessity and urgency of the digital transition. There are solutions and visual forms to propagate for people to understand, know and join hands with the government to carry out digital transformation, gradually forming digital citizens, realizing the digital transformation aspirations of Hai Duong province.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the information and communication industry to coordinate at all levels and sectors to continue advising on the implementation of digital transformation in the province in a synchronous and effective manner, especially for a number of implementation tasks. In 2023, it is necessary to continue to research, propose and advise solutions to complete the comprehensive digital transformation in all fields, because this is a key task to be carried out in order to fulfill the targets according to Decree of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

Departments, branches and localities have connected and implemented solutions and activities to support enterprises, production and business establishments of e-commerce applications. Thereby improving efficiency in goods circulation, building brands, expanding domestic and foreign markets.

The business community in the province has strongly implemented digital transformation, from smart management in production and business to digital payment. Currently, 99% of businesses in the province pay taxes electronically...

On this occasion, 5 collectives had typical achievements in computer incident response activities, ensuring network information safety; 14 collectives with typical achievements in implementing digital transformation activities in the local community received certificates of merit from the Department of Information and Communications.
