Binh Thuan: Launching the second Innovation Startup Contest
Binh Thuan Department of Science and Technology has just launched the second Innovation Startup Contest, for the perios of 2022 - 2024.

The contest aims to find, support and promote the development of innovative projects, products, business models, and innnovation start-ups in Binh Thuan province, and at the same time it has the ability to increase rapid growth based on the exploitation of intellectual property and new technologies.

Contestants can register ideas and innovative start-up projects in all industries, fields of production, business and services. In which, encouraging ideas and projects with the application of technologies, such as information technology, biology, automation, green, clean, environmental protection, new energy, new materials and environmental protection, all kinds of high, advanced and modern technologies to create quality products and services.

The 15 best profiles will be selected to participate in the final round, which is expected to take place in March 2024. Before entering the final round, the author (or author's representative) will be trained with experts on innovative start-ups and look up information on intellectual property; Presentation skills guide.

Winning products and projects will be introduced to participate in the National TECHFEST contest. In addition, departments, agencies and sectors are also connected with organizations, individuals, businesses and investors; free to participate in innovative startup training courses organized by the province; and are prioritized for consideration and support according to the provincial innovation startup support plan and policies promulgated by the Provincial People's Committee.

The prize structure includes 1 first prize of 30 million VND, 2 second prizes of 24 million VND/prize, 3 third prizes of 18 million VND/prize, and 5 consolation prizes of 6 million VND/prize.

The organization Board will accept entries from participating authors and groups from April 1, 2023 to 5:00 p.m., February 15, 2024.

It is known that the first Binh Thuan Province Innovation Startup Contest in 2020-2021 received 35 entries.
