Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2023: Focusing on digital data
On April 18, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) officially launched the Voting and Awarding Program for the Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards - Vietnam Digital Awards 2023 (VDA 2023) with the theme "Unlock the potential of data”, in response to the national year on digital data.

VDA is an annual award to honor outstanding digital transformation achievements of state agencies, non-business units, businesses and individuals, contributing to promoting the national digital transformation.

As every year, the Award will continue to honor and encourage units of all fields to boldly innovate and apply digital transformation in professional activities. Besides, according to Dr. Nguyen Minh Hong – President of VDCA, Head of the Organization Baord of the Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards 2023, former Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, “The year 2023 is identified by the Government as the year of National Digital Data, so VDA 2023 will be special honoring products, services and solutions on opening, connecting, creating, sharing and using data in Vietnam”.

Through 5 seasons of organization, Vietnam Digital Awards has reached a total of more than 13,000 agencies, organizations and businesses in 63 provinces; attracted nearly 1,400 entries; honoring nearly 350 outstanding digital transformation agencies, enterprises, non-business units and typical digital transformation products and solutions.

VDA 2023 honors agencies, organizations and individuals with outstanding digital transformation achievements in 5 categories, including:

Category 1: Excellent digital technology products, services and solutions.

Awarded to organizations and individuals operating in the field of information and communication technology to own excellent digital technology products, services and solutions, aiming to solve the practical problems and needs of everyday life.

Category 2: Excellent digital transformation enterprises and non-business units.

Awarded to businesses and non-business units in many fields that have had the process of applying digital technology to successfully change management, production, business and digital transformation models.

Category 3: Excellent digital transformation state agency.

Category 4: Products and solutions for digital transformation for the community.

Category 5: Foreign products, services and solutions.

Awarded to a foreign organization having a legal representative in Vietnam or a foreign individual holding a permanent residence card in Vietnam operating in the field of information and communication technology, owning products, services and solutions, typical digital technology, contributing to building a digital government, developing the digital economy and digital society, and solving urgent practical problems in Vietnam.

The Organization Board will receive online applications from April 18 to June 30, 2023 at the program website at: www.vda.com.vn. After that, the Preliminary Selection Council and the Final Selection Council will work to select the units that are worthy of honor in the Award Ceremony scheduled to be held in early October 2023.
