Applying science and technology creates leverage to increase labor productivity
That is the topic of the workshop organized by the Drectorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality in collaboration with Asian Productivity Organization, Vinh Phuc Department of Science and Technology, in Vinh Phuc province in the afternoon of April 27, 2023.

Workshop overview: Improving productivity based on science, technology and innovation.

Attending the workshop, there were Dr. Ha Minh Hiep, Deputy Director Directorate in charge of the Dirtectorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality, experts representing the Asian Productivity Organization, leaders of Vinh Phuc Department of Science and Technology, Vietnam Productivity Institute and businesses in the province.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Cong Vo - Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Department of Science and Technology said that productivity is always a fundamental factor to achieve the basic goal of growth. Productivity helps create a lot of material wealth for social life.

Besides, productivity is also a factor in improving the relationship between employees and managers, enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises to achieve national strategic goals. Science and technology development, innovation is the main driving force to improve, create change and breakthrough in productivity.

Leaders of Vinh Phuc Department of Science and Technology emphasized that in Vietnam, the issue of productivity receives the attention of the Government; policies to promote productivity are reflected in many guiding and executive documents. In Vinh Phuc in particular, the promotion of the application of science and technology, innovation to improve productivity has received close attention in many documents and plans of the Provincial People's Committee, the directives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Party Committee.

The organization of the Workshop "Improving productivity based on science, technology and innovation" in Vinh Phuc is an opportunity for leaders of the province, departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, cities and businesses, local businesses capture information and exchange information with domestic and international experts on productivity in the new context. Solutions to promote innovation and improve productivity have contributed to achieving the goal socio-economic development of the province as well as the sustainable development of enterprises in the area.

Leaders of Vinh Phuc Department of Science and Technology hope that through the workshop from the sharing, contributions and ideas of experts, it will help Vinh Phuc effectively implement programs to promote productivity improvement, innovation.
