Grassroots Trade Union Congress of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology for the term of 2023-2028
In the afternoon of April 27, 2023, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held the Trade Union Congress of Can Tho Department of Science and Technology for the term of 2023-2028. Attending the congress, there were comrade Mrs Nguyen Thi Dieu Hien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Can Tho City Union of Public Employees, comrade Ngo Anh Tin, Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; and 81 trade union members represent more than 180 union members of the Department.

The Congress approved the Report on the implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union for the term of 2016-2021, the period of 2021-2023 and the operation orientation for the term of 2023-2028; Review Report of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the term of 2016-2021, lasting until 2023. The congress listened to discussions from trade union groups on physical training and sports movements and solutions to improve quality of propagating, thoroughly grasping and disseminating the Party's resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and the Trade Union's resolutions to union members and employees.
Comrade Ngo Anh Tin, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, delivered a speech to direct the Congress
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hien, Member of the Executive Committee of the City Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Can Tho City Union of Public Employees, delivered a speech to direct the congress.
The Congress selected and elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Can Tho Department of Science and Technology for the term of 2023-2028, including 09 comrades. Comrade Tran Ba Quang was re-elected President of the Grassroots Trade Union. At the same time, elect a delegation to attend the City Trade Union Congress, including 04 official delegates and 01 alternate delegate.
The leader of the Department of Science and Technology and the leader of the City Union of Public Employees presented flowers to the Executive Board for the term of 2023-2028
Comrade Truong Hoang Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, gave flowers and souvenirs to the Executive Board for the term of 2016-2023, without being re-elected.
The leader of the City's Public Employees' Union awarded flags to the grassroots Trade Union of the Department of Science and Technology for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2022
Delegates attended the congress
At the end of the Conference, 100% of trade union members unanimously voted to approve the contents mentioned in the Resolution. Solidarity and unity, all trade union members of the Department of Science and Technology will strive to fulfill the contents and targets set out by the Resolution of the Congress.
