The Council of approval of organizations and individuals presiding over the task of developing the soursop brand in Thoi Hung, Co Do district
In the afternoon of May 4, 2023, at the hall of the Department of Science and Technology, Dr. Ngo Anh Tin, Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Council presided a meeting of the Science and Technology Council to consider and assign organizations and individuals to directly assume the responsibility of developing Thoi Hung soursop brand, Co Do district. The task is chaired by Can Tho city Farmers' Association and the branch of Investip Industrial Property Joint Stock Company (Hanoi City).
This is a task under the Intellectual Property Development Program of Can Tho City until 2030, implemented from 2023, approved in Decision No. 3476/QD-UBND dated September 20, 2022 of the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee.
The objectives of the projects are to establish additional intellectual property rights for a number of products or services bearing the collective trademark of "Soursop Thoi Hung" such as: soursop wine, soursop tea, soursop jam; in order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of producers and consumers, contributing to maintaining the reputation of products and services and improving the lives of people in Thoi Hung commune, Co Do district, serving the development of local economy and society.
After listening to the research team presented the task explanation, the members of the Council discussed, contributed ideas, voted to approve the task and considered this to be a meaningful task. At the same time, the Chairman of the Council requested the research team to amend a number of contents according to the suggestions of the Council members to complete the explanation and implementation.
