Creating conditions for scientists to promote creativity
According to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Hoang Giang, over the past time, the country's science, technology and innovation have made many progress. Vietnam continues to maintain its high ranking in the Global Innovation Index (GII), among the countries that have made the greatest progress over the past decade.
In addition, according to the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), in the past 10 years, the Asian economy has grown steadily with the growth rate of total factor productivity (TFP) at about 1%/year. In which, Vietnam is recognized as one of the countries with a positive TFP growth rate and in the group of countries with the highest TFP increase with an average of 1.4% per year. The Global Innovation Index (GII) in 2022 by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Vietnam ranks 48th out of 132 countries and economies.
