The third contest "Creative students and intellectual property rights" for students of universities in the Central region - Central Highlands
On May 20, 2023, the Representative Office of the National Office of Intellectual Property in Da Nang city cooperated with the Law University - Hue University and Tilleke & Gibbins (Vietnam) Law Firm to organize the third contest " "Creative students and intellectual property rights" for students of universities in Hue city, the number of teams participating in this year's competition is seven, increasing compared to previous seasons.

The purpose of the contest is to create conditions for students of the University of the Central region - Central Highlands to have the opportunity to exchange, learn and connect with each other. In addition, the contest also gives students awareness about the role of intellectual property rights (IP) in general and in universities in particular, thereby consciously protecting their IP rights and respecting intellectual property rights of others.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of University of Law - Hue University shared the honor of cooperation between Law University - Hue University and Representative Office of NOIP in Da Nang city on organizing the competition "Creative students and intellectual property rights.”

Following the success of two previous competitions, in 2021 and 2022, the third contest in 2023 has created more surprises and creativity in the field of IP. At the same time, this year's contest is also tougher than two previous two contests with contents focusing on the issues of the Intellectual Property Law, which will be amended and supplemented in 2022 with new points compared to the 2005 IP Law, amended and supplemented 2009 and 2019.

The contest is held annually with the aim of linking training with practice in IP activities, contributing to raising students' awareness of IP, encouraging creativity, learning, and facilitating connections of knowledge network on IP at universities in the Central region - Central Highlands and then in the whole country.

In the end, the Organization Board awarded the first prize to the Blue Whale team, Vinh University; second prize: Elite team, University of Economics - University of Danang; third prize: Napa team, National Academy of Public Administration's Central Region; consolation prize: Skyline Luxury team, Dong A University; Team The Power from University of Law, Hue University; Team Leopards, Duy Tan University; Misty Wonders team, Da Lat University; the most favorite team award: Skyline Luxury Team, Dong A University; The most impressive team award: Blue Whale Team, Vinh University.
