Hau Giang opened the week of digital transformation and innovation startup
On May 18, at the Provincial Convention Center, the Provincial People's Committee cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) to organize the opening of the Week of Digital Transformation and Innovation Start-up - Mekong Delta 2023.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Giang and leaders of Hau Giang province performed the opening ceremony of the Week of Digital Transformation and Innovation Startup - Mekong Delta - 2023.

Attending the opening ceremony, there were Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications; Mr. Do Tien Thinh, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment; leaders of Vietnam Informatics Association; Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association; Mr. Tran Van Huyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; together with the standing People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and more than 1,300 delegates from departments, agencies, organizations, corporations and businesses across the country.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, following the successes in 2022, the People's Committee of Hau Giang province in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association solemnly organized the Week of Digital Transformation and Start-up Innovation - Mekong Delta 2023, with the participation of 25 provinces and cities; the presence of many experts, speakers, delegates from central ministries, branches, leaders of provinces and cities; especially the presence of hundreds of businesses, associations and associations from provinces and cities at home and abroad.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Hoang Giang suggested Hau Giang province implement the strategy of science, technology and innovation development in the period of 2021-2030; promote the startup ecosystem, strengthen linkages and cooperation in innovation networks; effectively use all resources invested in science and technology.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Hoang Giang mentioned a number of tasks Hau Giang needs to focus on implementing in terms of digital transformation and innovation in the coming time.
