According to Ha Noi city Department of Agriculture and Rural Development "Hanoi City Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Food Traceability System" has issued 12,802 sets of traceability codes for agricultural, forestry and fishery products.

Accumulated up to now, the system has supported instructions and granted accounts to participate in the management and maintenance of the management system for 3,346 establishments that are agriculture forestry seafood cooperatives, production, processing, preliminary processing and packaging establishments. Accordingly, 12,802 sets of traceability codes have been issued to the system for agricultural, forestry and fishery products meeting all criteria on food safety.
In addition, Hanoi also maintains, develops and integrates a system of quick warning and risk analysis of food safety and hygiene in the city on the application of GIS technology platform software system for agricultural and forestry products, in order to strengthen the management of food safety. Maintain and expand the self-declared data management system for agricultural, forestry and fishery products.
According to Ha Noi city Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the construction and development of an electronic information system with QR codes for traceability of agricultural and food products has created favorable conditions not only for businesses, cooperatives, and producers in the production process, which the consumer also benefits.
