Ca Mau: Cooperating with businesses for comprehensive digital transformation

Practically celebrating Vietnam Science and Technology (S&T) Day 18/05. On 17/05/2023, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and FPT Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement on digital transformation to 2028.

According to the signed document, FPT Joint Stock Company will coordinate and support the People's Committee of Ca Mau province in developing programs and action plans in the direction of closely following the spirit of Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU, dated 14 07/2022 of the Provincial Party Committee on digital transformation of Ca Mau province to 2025, orientation to 2030; suitable with the capacity and strength of FPT; focusing on the following fields: digital infrastructure, digital government, development of digital application systems for people/enterprises. Besides, FPT Joint Stock Company also piloted a smart city model using FPT's comprehensive solution of digital infrastructure and digital solutions in Ca Mau province; supporting provincial businesses in digital transformation consulting and implementation of digital transformation applications.

The two sides will also strengthen coordination in organizing and communicating digital transformation events for businesses and households; organize conferences and seminars on digital transformation in key areas of the province to connect businesses and associations with the locality; organize training and retraining programs for leaders, cadres, civil servants, public employees, enterprises, business households and people in the province on digital transformation; develop digital payment solutions for public service platforms.
