Prioritize resources to support the development of innovative startup ecosystem
Da Nang City will continue to prioritize resources to support the development of an innovative startup ecosystem.
Speaking at the international conference "Developing an innovative start-up ecosystem in Da Nang and people diplomacy in connecting and mobilizing resources", Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, Chairman of the Viet Nam Union of Organizations affirmed that start-ups, innovation, and business promotion are always a driving force and an important resource for the development of each country, especially in the era of the fourth industrial revolution.
Over the years, the Party and State have adopted many guidelines and policies, created the legal framework and the most favorable conditions and environment to support innovative start-ups.
Da Nang city plays a central role in the Central Highlands region, is one of the three national innovation start-up centers, with the continuous formation and development of supporting organizations and incubators, venture capital funds, angel investors and especially the innovative startup business community.
At the conference, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said that over the years, Da Nang's innovative start-up ecosystem has formed and developed with many diverse elements linked together and support each other.
According to Mr. Tran Xuan Dich, Deputy Director of the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises, Da Nang city has an important position in the Central region, gathering a lot of human resources, which can connect provinces and cities in the country as well as internationally to form an ecosystem, helping startups to expand markets and create many job opportunities, connecting infrastructure, developing human resources.
Da Nang has a high-tech park which is Vietnam's third multi-functional national high-tech park with the aim of attracting domestic and foreign investors; A pioneering city in the process of digital transformation, danang smart city application with applications serving people's lives, such as suggestions, rescue applications, open data applications, public services and etc.
