According to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy, sicne the concept of 4.0 was introduced worldwide, the game has shaped and gradually shifted to closer practical technology, promoting the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in life. In the past 6 months, the whole world has witnessed an explosive development in the trend of super-large AI, through generating AI systems, GPT chat, image and video processing systems combining big data, changing daily human life.
The Deputy Minister talked about a number of pillars promoting and developing artificial intelligence that need to be focused, of which the first pillar is about AI expert human resources and digital technology skills group; compute and data infrastructure. All three pillars "still have a lot of work to do".
Another pillar is institutional regulations regulating AI ethics, deepfake, image video processing and regulations on building AI systems... "Currently, the Ministry of Science and Technology is coordinating with Australian experts to build it. The system stipulates "Responsible Artificial Intelligence" - responsibility from the builder to the user", Mr. Duy said.
Dr. Duong Duy Hung, Assistant Head of the Central Economic Commission also said that in recent years, AI technology has made rapid development, deepening and expanding in many fields in Vietnam. He said that Vietnam considers the digital technology industry (prioritizes the development of artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, cloud computing, Internet of things, electronics - telecommunications equipment, design and semiconductor chip manufacturing) is one of the six fundamental industries.
