Develop and promulgate national standards for smart manufacturing
Head of the Central Economic Commission said that it is necessary to have a legal framework for the development of smart manufacturing, smart factory models, and to develop and issue national standards on smart production.

Politburo member and head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh said that in order to contribute to promoting the implementation of Resolution No.29, Industry 4.0 in 2023 has chosen the theme of the plenary session "Promoting digital transformation, green transition creates breakthroughs, shortens the process of industrialization and modernization of the country by 2030, and a vision to 2045".
At the conference, the Head of the Central Economic Commission emphasized the necessary work to institutionalize and concretize the views, tasks and major solutions mentioned in Resolution No. 29, in which the focus is on the related issues to digital transformation and green transformation to create breakthroughs for industrialization and modernization.
According to Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, what needs to be done in this period is to build and perfect institutions and policies, in which priority is given to building and perfecting the specialized legal system on national industrial development and specific industrial fields (such as digital technology industry, defense industry, security, energy, and etc.). In addition, there should be a legal framework for the development of smart manufacturing, smart factory model, and the development and promulgation of national standards on smart manufacturing.
