Demonstration, display, introduction and connection of innovative products with the expected scale of 60 direct stores at Sheraton Hotel and 60 online stores on the event's landing page; Conference connects innovation enterprises in Vietnam and Korea; Seminar connects Start-ups with investors and etc. The new feature of Techfest Hai Phong 2023 is to expand the scale of domestic and international cooperation to participate in exhibitions, trade connections and sharing at exhibitions, conferences, contributing to the diversification and improvement of the integration index for the local ecosystem. In addition, the Innovation Startup Talent Contest 2023 was first held within the framework of Techfest with a large scale for the City's innovative start-up projects and ideas. Speaking to launch the contest, Deputy Director of Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology Pham Thi Sen Quynh called for all people, organizations, businesses and youth union members in the city to actively, confidently and enthusiastically respond so that the Contest really becomes a movement, strongly promoting innovation activities, applying scientific and technical advances to production and life, quickly approaching the Industrial Revolution 4.0, contribute to the industrialization and modernization of the city.
At the ceremony, representatives of Hai Phong Youth Union and Vietnam Maritime University spoke in response to the event by calling for students, students and young people in the city to actively participate in the event; At the same time, he asked all levels of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and mass organizations from the city level to the grassroots level to continue to pay attention to and create conditions for start-up and innovation activities. Representatives of the two units also said that the contest is a good opportunity for startups to promote their brands and ideas, create deep connections with leading experts and advisors at home and abroad. It is also a "launching platform" for start-ups to become more mature, quickly reach out to the world and contribute to the city's socio-economic development.
The 2023 Innovation Startup Talent Search Contest starts accept applications from organizations and individuals in need from June 15 to July 15, 2023 in two forms: direct ( Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology) and online (startuphaiphong.com). The contest consists of 3 rounds: preliminary, semi-final, final and is expected to be awarded immediately after the teams complete the final round on September 21, 2023. The prize structure includes: 01 First prize, 02 Second prizes, 03 Third prizes and 04 Consolation prizes.
